My son is a big boy now. He is even attending National university of Singapore. His first day in university.

Towel with hood

I got this towel when he was 6 months old.After buying, I never used it as it was too big for him. Finally, now I have started to use it( he is 16 month ). I have so many such things that I buy out of my impulse. Need to have control over my impulse buying and should buy thing that fits his age and need.

Reasoning out

Have u ever tried to reason out (like why he should or shouldn't do something) to your 16 month old kid.....I strongly believe that what ever feeling we get then is the feeling our parents still get when they try to give us some advice.....

Latest interest - Basketball

Sanjiv's latest interest is basketball...and can u believe Murali got him a small basketball(Real one )...Every morning and evening, we have to take him to the basketball court....

On first day itself he realized that he can't shoot the ball into the basket as he is bit short(heeeheeeeeeee) .....Even if murali carries him over his head, he can;t do it, as the ball is as heavy as him....So he invented a new game..... He throws the ball into the bush and we have to take it for him..and he does that for as long as he liked.....he doesn't move a foot....Can you imagine how tiring it can be....so, I find reason for not going to basketball court....poor murali....In way it is good for him. It gives him the required exercise for the day.....

Cute hand

I love to see sanjiv's hand. It is so soft and so so cute. His grandpa gave a bracelet cum ring as gift for new year. Not bad he wore it for sometime on Pongal.






He was also busy counting the gift money he got. When I took it away from him, it was just a crumpled paper.

Most difficult task

The most difficult task for me is not reading 1000 page book or exercising for 1 week continuously, but it is to

Put him sleep

Make him eat

Wake him from sleep

make him sit in car seat

Get him out of swimming pool

Make my son sit in a place for 2 min

Stop him throwing cordless phone or remotes

Pull things down from dinning table/food trolley

Stop him from screaming at peak of his voice when he sees a ball or balloon

Easiest thing to do....

Let him play as long as he wants.......

First hair cut

Yesterday we took Sanjiv for his first hair cut...I was quite surprised as he didn't mind getting a hair cut at all. Even the hair dresser was very happy to see a very co-operative kid....According to her, it is very rare that a kid doesn't cry for his first hair cut....

Sleepless night

For past few weeks sanju is having very irregular sleep habits. Don't understand why. Have to try to sort it out.

No more beaker

My boy is big boy now. He doesn't want to drink his juice/water from beaker. He wants to directly drink it from cup like a grown-up. He still prefers to have his milk from bottle.Very soon even that will change....then it will be big bye for Bottles and beakers.......

2010...First blog

Once again Happy New Year.

For first time,we took Sanjiv for New Year party (Last year he was too small). The party was arranged by Mona(my colleague)...He had good time collecting all the decoration balls.....Now all those are in my car as mess.....After that party we had planned to go to beach but then Sanjiv was too tried , so we dropped the idea. Had quite cake cutting ceremony at home(Myself,my hubby, my parents and my uncle). Sanjiv was peacefully sleeping. Didn't disturb him as he will hardly understand what is going on.On Jan 1st, we all went to temple,had good feast for lunch and watched special program in TV.

We started off New year in a very relax mode....

3rd Jan

Very sad....Holiday atmosphere is coming to an end.......

4th Jan -

Feel good to start routine life. The only sad part is, Sanju will not be with me during office hours. Whole of last week of 2009, I was at home. Sanju was around when I worked from home. The truth is, with him around, no serious work can be done. So, I prefer to come to office rather than work from home.This will help me to be 100% mom at home and 100% consultant at work..You can even call this as new year resolution.
