Shoe rack

Anything that is new,Sanjiv is the first one to test it out.By the time we get it, it is almost in completely used up state. Same goes even for shoe rack. Yesterday from the time the carpenter got it , he hasn't entered house. He has tested the sturdiness of the cupboard. How good the locks are. How many of his shoes will fit in. The complete quality check was done by him. As soon I reached home, he didn't let me in. He made me sit on the steps and did a demo on how to use it. It was fun tough.

Simple things in life

Yesterday I went for Toy sale in one the shopping malls in Singapore. I got so many toys for Sanjiv. His fav Mickey Mouse soft toy , Crayon set and lot more. I also got a simple box to put in these toys. In the evening, I gave him all the toys. Then I was setting the box to put his toys. Guess what ! he wanted only that box to play with and nothing else. He didn't touch any of the toys. For almost 1 hour he played only with that box. Once again he proved that simple things in life brings more joy . All you have to do is be Happy !!!!!!!!!

TV Channel & Shows

Neither me nor my parents remember what TV show I used to watch when I was 5 years old. I don't even remember whether we had the idiot box before that. At later stage, I used to watch three shows from the one channel that we used to get. It was He-Man ,Superman and Spider man Then we used to get the Tom and Jerry VCD's for rent. By then I was studying 8th standard or so.
But now, my son watches channel as per his age. From age 6 months to 1.5 years it was BabyTv. Now it is Playhouse Disney. Next it will be Jim Jam and ceebies. Then you can imagine the program list in each channel. The advantage of this is, I don't have to buy too many Cd's or Blue ray disc(in future)

For past few days, I am learning another important lesson from my Son, 'How to act when you are down with fever'.
Last time when I was down with fever, every well I remember the fuss I created. I refused to eat anything even medicine or get out of bed.I was really down with the thought that I am sick. All I wanted to do was to sleep or watch TV. It took me a long time to get back to routine. But my little hero, he even though he had high fever for past three days, he was very active. He took his medicines on time. Only his face let out that he was not feeling well but not his attitude. His attitude helped him to recover faster. All is well now.......
