Sleeping beauty and shy prince

Yesterday, while Rhea and Sanjiv were playing together, she wanted her to be sleeping beauty and Sanjiv to be Prince. As agreed upon, Rhea acted to be sleeping. I told Sanjiv, ok now you have to kiss her, then she will wake-up...You have to see the way he was shying away...I again told him, Sanjiv you are the prince...Sleeping beauty will wake up only when the prince kisses her...
Sanjiv:  Mom you kiss her
Rhea, keeping her eyes closed: No, prince has to kiss, auntie is queen.
Sanjiv, giving shy expression: No No...Mom you kiss her...
Thanks God...Rhea's dad came for rescue and kissed the sleeping beauty...Sleeping beauty woke from her sleep and went with the shy prince to cook using clay....

I went back and asked Murali what is wrong with his son.....Hopefully this shyness continues untill his teenage ends...

Reasons for not going to school

Sanjiv: Mom I dont want to go to school...
Me: why ?
Sanjiv:Because it is boring, they make me tired, they trouble me,they make me sleep, they make me eat...
Me: Slient and train of thoughts in my mind (Boring - can't play with what he wants, Tired as has to wake up early to get ready, trouble - Have to do what the teacher tells him, Eat and sleep is something he doesn't want to do untill he is pushed to edge by hunger and drowsy eyes.)...
Me: I love going to office. I get to meet my friends, teacher, play with them, sing with them, jump with them...
Sanjiv: Me too...I like to go to my EtonHouse office.
Me: Hmmmmm

Thank God, I lost weight !!!!

Me and Sanjiv were going for walk by the pool...
'Mom that uncle is very fat'...I looked around and saw a bit healthy person standing beside us...I just held my breath and pretended not to hear what he said...but this kid was determined to ask for trouble..he continued 'Mom why is he so fat'...I walked at  faster pace and then told him that uncle always eats well...Thank God, he got distracted by something else and didn't question me any further...I just couldn't guess what was about to come next :)-

Long trousers

For past few days Sanjiv insist on wearing only full lenght pants to school. Looks like he sees Murali wearing pants to office and wants to follow his dad...Hopefully this doesn't last long else I need to shop for more pants....

Go green

Even though it is small, I like the fact that they are teaching a 3.6 years old to grow plant. Sanjiv's class is growing their own spinach for their lunch on 20th Apr. I wish that everybody can do their bit to the mother nature.

Today, appa and amma went back to India. Sanjiv was trying all his tricks to make them stay and finally in airport he wanted to go and play in thatha's house( in India ) for just two hours.
He was like, I don't want you, I don't want papa, I don't want sharavanik. I want only thatha and achi.
He cried very badly when they went in. Finally, I managed to calm him down and took him to restaurant.
He asked me in a very sad tone, 'mama who will play with me in home'. I told him that, myself and appa will play. In a absolutely dull tone he said,' no I want aachi and thatha to play with me. He is going to miss them.

House address

This post is due 2 weeks. For some reason it slipped out of my mind. Since two weeks, Sanjiv is able to say the house address,
'Lakeshore, 3B, 12-46'. The pin code is missing, but then I think it will be too much to expect from 3.6 year old kid.
Next, should make him say at least one of our phone number.
PS: Definitely there will be an argument between me and my hubby on whose number he should memorise first...
Should I start a poll on this ?

When ever Sanjiv says, he loves me or I am his best friend, I feel that, I am doing a good job as mother. I don't know until when he will be saying this. I will bask in glory until that day...
