Challenge

The biggest challenge I face on a daily basis is 'How to keep Sanjiv occupied while not running/jumping around'...
He is very happy to climb onto something...Jump from there and play with TV and DVD switches....But when I have to make him sit on his High-Chair for his meal , that’s when the challenge comes...
His interest for any toy is just for 5 min. That too only if the toy is new. If it is old and he hasn't seen it for weeks, then it is 2 min. If it is something he has seen it on the previous day, then it 0 min...
Some days, I run out of anything new for him. Those days, I try to invent some activities...
First stop will be in my kitchen. You are wondering for want, it is to find something for him in our fridge. I gave him Peas, onions and even garlic to peel. That was quite effective. For few days, I managed to keep him busy. Whenever I gave him something to peel, he was busy with them for at least 30 mins. Eventually he learnt that I was using him as my helper's help and from then on he refused to do that..
Then I dismantled most of his toys and gave it to him for fixing...He invented some new games with those dismantled toys.....That lasted for two days and again back to square one....
Then I thought him how to clean the floor with tissue paper...He did it, but his ultimate aim was to put the paper in mouth...I was not able to keep up with his tricks and mostly he succeeded in stuffing his mouth with paper. so, I had to make him forget this activity...This is what you call as ultimate back firing.....
Then I gave him cream and powder box. He simple loved the mess it created. After he wasted one box of powder and cream, I realized that was an expensive time pass...So, started to hide them. Another back fire
And so many other things I invented. Most of them back fired...I don’t want to list them all and look like stupid.
Now, I am back to that one question "Now what ?"
I am open for any suggestion....
